Anybody got any info about this hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 21 - Asoke - Bangkok Boutique Hotel. Any advice appreciated

Zambo,

Its a small Boutique hotel, only 54 rooms. Its new and the staff provide a good service. Its located about 5 mins walk from the underground station, and many Samsters have stayed there with me.

However;-

1. The standard rooms are only 18 sqm, only has shower no bathtub.
2. The superior rooms are only 23sqm, only has shower, no bathtub.

If you dont mind this, then its a good choice.

Do U know if the price same for Wattana Mansion if I paid in person or are these prices (550b) good only if book by internet? I plan to book 4 nites by internet but if I have to stay 2 extra nites after or even come back day later --for walk in price, wonder if they will still allow for 550b per nite?

haha well i'm more concern about the mosquitoes especially at the cybercafe area in the lobby.

I am not sure about walk-in prices but I got same price when I extended 1 night there.

I book Bangkok Boutique Hotel thru thaihoteldiscounts.com (Tim) when i was in BKK last week. It's a lovely hotel. I got the standard room from Tim, the cost is the lowest i can find anywhere in the internet (i checked asiarooms.com, bangkok.com, hotelthailand.com). It's a quiet hotel with loads of privacy coz they only have 54 rooms. It's 5 mins walk to Phetchaburi MRT. The rooms are cozy, clean, zen interior, and a queen size bed. I reach the hotel at 930am, i am allowed to check in and got my room. There's a 7-11 store only 3 mins walk away alone Asoke rd. Is a thumbs-up hotel.

Was checking through the rates and found that asiarooms.com rate is 1552 bht per night for single standard room, while Thaihoteldiscounts.com rate is 1646 bht for similar room. So how much did you pay?

Alright bros, nearly there. Just book Wattana Mansion for 4 nights.
Plan to only change some money at airport for 1 day use(heard exchange rate not great).
Need info on where best place near Wattana mansion for best exhange rate for both Travellers Checks (American express) and of course Cash. (banks or xchange booths?). I plan to bring and use both. Thanks bro

i do not know abt mosquito.never encounter during my last trip there.But the place very inconvenient.Need to walk a long way to take their 'MRT'. Even if u wan to take taxis, must walk a distance to the main road. Worse is the overhead bridge u have to climb every morning to get to the other side of the road.But the place is one of the cheaper one. Not recommend if u do not know ur way well.

Do you mean me? Can't remember being introduced just posted a question re. the hotel. Btw didn't notice "Tim" is an advertiser otherwise would have asked the rate. I have booked for one night Superior at Bangkok Boutique for Baht1,792. Is this rate good or expensive. Will be in BKK again soon so if hotel good will make another booking.
