I just came across your thread today and finished it to this thread in 3 hours while listening to all the heart wrenching reminders of our childhood romance.

I'm nearing 40 and with a marriage hanging a thin thread, I want to thank you for some strength that you have imparted through your personal sharing.

Many tears are shed this night.

My prayers are with you.

Words can only do so much from your bros.

You have remained strong through all temptations. Remember. Where faith is, temptation will be stronger.

My heart is warmed and I salute you for you have taken to serve the Lord through the difficult decisions that you made.

Brother... sad to hear that yr marriage is nt going on that well too... but dun give up... u may go through the series of these marriage sermons which i have shared earlier on by my church Pastor... it bring me back to the fundamental truth of marriage again... I was struggling with myself while i listen to the sermon... mainly with anger and bitterness... but halfway through the sermon.. i was deeply convicted by the Lord... indeed forgiveness should be exercised... and love hold no record of wrongs... marriage is a life long project... something which need consistent and daily effort to build it...Only through a strong marriage.. then we can raise up a second Generation of christian (Our kids)... imparting them with the rite values... so that they will grow up to be mature christian and to be a blessing to those around them. Hope that you will go through it when u r free... knowing that u r a christian too... The lord will give us fresh insights of marriage life again.... God bless...

Dear Bro Zerofighter

I came across your thread and found it very moving and meaningful. I can relate to many of your feelings - I'm also middle-aged with kids and a lot of responsibilities. I look back sometimes and wonder how my life would have been different and whether it would be better or worse. Of course, these are not constructive thoughts and we soon have to get on with our daily lives and duties.

I also enjoyed your perspective as well. I also went through my schooldays at around the same time as you ( maybe I'm a bit senior I think) but I went to a kandang-eating school. I have greatly enjoyed discovering all these moving Chinese songs you have posted along the way.
