Hi all bro,

i seldom post in international field report. I been traveling very frequently for the past few years, came to Jakarta only for 4 times, usually staying at Borodudur hotel or aryuduta hotel(former hyatt).I have never really get any chances to explore Jakarta either due to short trip I am there or because of the infamous traffic jam that scare the hell out of me.

Next week I will be in Jakarta for 1 full week, thus thinking of exploring around. I need your advise on a few things:
1) I prefer going clubbing: thus will check out red square and dragonfly. Any other to suggest?
2) which will be a good area to stay in, I am very turn off by the traffic there. I know it is inevitable but is there any good recommendation for me to travel with ease to the club mention above
3) Is there anything that you think it is a must for me to check out?

Your advise will be much appreciated.

What is your budget for hotel? The clubs u mentioned is in South Jakarta where there r a quite a few hotels. Crown hotel is very near to Dragonfly, u might be able to walk from the hotel. Mulia hotel is near to Red square, 10 mins car drive. As for other pubs or discos, u need to tell us your taste.

as for taste, I like to drink any place that is great for drinking is fine with me.

But if ur qns regarding "taste" is for woman, commercial sex is a no no for me. Too much puying in thailand till i almost become a monk. I am not sure for u guys dun u think that if u always goes for FL after a while u will get sick of it?

For me a good drink will be good, or jus go clubbing and practice my long lost "pick-up gal" skill in a normal club will be great.

Guess Red Square and Dragonfly will be great place to try your skill. Personally I prefer Red Square. Anyway a lot of great clubs in South Jakarta compare to Kota, where the gers have money and are there for fun.

In south, a lot of good hotels, Manhattan, Ritz, Melia, Shang, 4 Seasons, Intercontinetal.... as most local goes clubbing late at about 10, so traffic is fine.

The night clubs, that has been given to you are great clubs for a start.
Te FL in here and Thailand are worlds apart. The girls here are real gems, you will see; you will have to know your way around to avoid the traffic jams
knowing when and where to move about; is best.
Pick up skills are useful in jakarta but you will have know which club to try your KungFu. Some of the club's girls do not need money, they drive in a BMW M5 and Z4. But sometimes to get these girls you will have to folk out more money to get bitch girls to notice you. At te end of the night, they will still ask you pay the bills.
