Vietnam on Friday devalued its currency for the fourth time in 15 months as the country tries to control a trade deficit and rising inflation.

The average interbank exchange rate was adjusted by 9.3 per cent to 20,693 dong to the dollar, against 18,932 dong previously, the State Bank of Vietnam said.

The central bank also tightened the daily trading band for buying and selling dollars by commercial banks, to one percent from the previous three per cent of the interbank exchange rate.

The devaluation had been widely expected.

In business, it encourages more to sell n less to buy but then some daily products need to be purchased from oversea n this adds burden to local.

Just share a story ... have a old-classmate, have wife and kids in SIN ... but then customary wedding ceremory with a VN girl, they have a baby girl , one yr only sees about 4-6 times .... the girl dun mind my friend who has a wife and kids in SIN. I saw here before, pretty .. thrifty ....

Yeah, the moment they saw the baby come out, carry them , start to breast feed them ... everything totally different ... now .. i talk to the baby abit loud she scold me, i wipe my baby shit too hard she also scold me ... milk too hot lah ,,, water too cold lah ....

Can start to see the love and affections towards the baby growing .. and i reckon it will grow fast and furious .. and soon I will be out of the league

2) mother

aiyo...nobody care wat happened in sillypore la...me nvr keen to do anything here...only do in Vn...here in Sillypore...wake up go to work and go home...only wait for my next trip to hcm...young can be as young as 18...17 still cannot go overnight in hotel...
