Not KTV but siam diu. I have a friend who got together with a Viet bu he met at a siam diu. Genuine love, I have spent lots of time with them.

The kicker is that they are of similar attractiveness, and she is 3 or 4 years older than him. They also had a shotgun marriage, but it's clear they loved each other though presently their marriage is having some difficulties due to financial issues that are fault of my friend (i don't think the wife expects a lot of $, but said friend is terrible with managing money and in lots of debt).

I think it's possible to form a genuine relationship with a KTV/siam diu girl, but the thing is that the prerequisites for a healthy relationship need to be met. So things like looks, thinking, goals, etc. need to be similar to increase the chances of it working.
