Went to H81 Bencoolen last week, also $30 now... Guess all non Geylang is $30 zzzz

According to the staff there, the increase of $10 is to cut down the waiting time. I dun see it..

Even it rose to $30.... the bloody hotels still got full packed business tonight !!

Got one hot FL in this forum even ask me got car or not ?? And ask me do I mind doing in the car or not ??

Guess it also affects the FLs as customers are aplenty but no rooms to do transaction !

I thought Bencoolen has always been $30 ? I paid $30 when I went 2 mths ago.

Bencoolen has always been $30...but i guess besides locality it also depends on the supply and demand thing for that area. You go over to Pasir Panjang both the Fragrance branch there are charging $30 and even a lok kok kok place like that Pasir Panjang Inn charge the same rate.

If that was the intention, did not work at all. Was there earlier again and min waiting time was 90 mins, for all 5 hotels in the vicinity. Called another 2 further away and just as bad.

So in a change, they increased by 50% their income from transit. Pondered a bit on why and came out with some reasons.

- They intend to list on stock exchange, higher income will get them better IPO.

- YOG coming soon, get the transit to gradually move to geylang* and have the rooms for full day booking by YOG guests and the tourist that maybe coming. Transit makes more by the hour but also include in more labour and sheets so maybe full day booking is better for them ?

*makes AV job easier in this case

- Most Probable : They just want to make more money and know that there isn't many other options available. Which pretty much sucks.....

So, anyone has any info on Fragrance rates ? Remaining the same or also increased ? Even if increase also, don't think CASE is going to take them on. Not going to be a very good soundbite in the media.
