At times, when I come across a prc who looks like a certain friend, I would have this... temptation of paying her to be my gf just for a day. Don't need to go to bed, but just pretend. Its sad. The tragedy of it all, but still have to be thankful that I am healthy and do not have to beg.

bro vesfreq, really appreciate the time u tool to reply my post. just coincidence that i got my colleague's wedding invitation today. was very tempted to ask how much she actually loaned her bf! it was rumoured to be 6 figures by the office gossips. like u say, maybe we just dont have that kind of luck, and fate makes it worse by letting us hear about such things. just adds to the resentment, doesnt it?

the other 1 thing to highlight is that i have done that about 4 years back, going out with this prc ktv girl all because she really looks like the one i have lost. quite a number of times in fact, all paying full-hours booking. only did her the last time i saw her and she didnt want me to pay her. it just gets sadder everytime i saw her. the prc girl finally knew and told me not to look for her anymore. it was made worse by the fact that a PRC ktv girl gave me a bloody sympathy bonk. so, i would advise u not to go down that road cos it not only took away my pride, i ended up hurting even more. just let it go, not that i could do it though. cheers...

guys..upon reading all these notes written by fellow brudders....just realised that in life..nothing is perfect.

guess everyone wants to have a perfect partner (body..looks...intelligence..care..everything!) but come to think of it...the thing most matters are how to stay on course for life.

i had someone in my life previously that i thought was a perfect match...but at the end of the day....things did not turn out as it is. hurt...pain..heartaches are evitable but my current partner(which i married later on) may not be what i dreamt or my ideal partner but over these years.....realised even though she may not be the one i love most but she is certainly the one i that i would want to spend the rest of my life with.......that's life

something i noticed, but not sure if its a common thing. can someone verify?

1) if she loves you - she can accept you as a whole package, and she's not too particular about your assets. and quite likely to slog it out together, to save & afford the luxuries together.

2) if she's not 100% about you - she say she can accept your inadequacies, but when problems arise, she'd use all the inadequacies against you.
