Not exactly a great game but hell I take the win anytime...but midfield really looks messy...Torres I think trying to hard to the extend that at times a bit "tamak" or selfish in possession especially in the penalty area where it would have been better to pass then dribble thru...

Well at least one aspect of Lucas game is ready to take over from Alonso, the part where he gets the opposition send off

Transfer window closing soon. really hope Pool sign anthr 1 or 2 gd players as back-up. last nite's game, it was yet again SG n Torres which saved our day. ECL starting soon n will surely take a toll on d players. For sure we cant expect d duo to be fit n playing 100% in every EPL match, wk in wk out.

it will not matter much.
look at MU,they do not always play well,but in the end still manage to craft out a win.

well, djimi traore and igor biscan won us the champion league!!! so fret not, Lucas will win us the champion league this season

LOL... I almost forgot Traore.. he was a complete nightmare.
But Lucas is almost there.
Sometimes I wonder if he's even Brazilian.

But hey, I don't wana sound as if I'm really personal against him but I reckoned a player of his pedigree is not good enough for EPL..

I can only hope Rafa can see that.. he seems to be in love with Lucas.

Why is Biscan an issue? He seldom plays anyway. I think I will remember him for the fantastic quarter final against Juventus. The one where Alonso made his comeback after recovering from a broken ankle.

I thought he would have been a cheap and effective 2nd striker for us. But we missed the boat again. From Soccernet.

Iceland striker Eidur Gudjohnsen has joined Monaco from Barcelona on a two-year contract, the Ligue 1 club said on Monday. The 30-year-old, who joined the Spanish club in 2006 after six seasons at Chelsea, no longer played any part in Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola's plans. The much-travelled Gudjohnsen, who has also had spells at PSV Eindhoven and Bolton Wanderers, has moved for an undisclosed transfer fee, Monaco said on their website.

Well at least Igor did his part in the CL finals against AC Milan, I really felt that he was one of the unsung heroes for that match..as for Lucas, haiz what more can be said for this bumbling idiot..

I agree that Igor is one of those unsung heores that played for Liverpool.

Biscan is considered an average player just not suitable for the English league..

Its Houllier whom keep insisting he is good and at the same time played him out of position..
