Bullshit for those who think Biscan as some kind of hero. If not for Istanbul, what would you remember him for? The midfielder who never became Zidane? The converted defender who had zero confidence?

bros ... pardon me for my dig on biscan n traore but it's a fact tt whenever they take to d field they always get jeers cos of their tendencies to make mistakes. biscan may hv made some contributions but im sure he's remembered more for his mistakes than heroics. u rarely hear Pool players who had underperformed like dossena, salif diao, diouf, josemi being laughed at in d same degree as d duo.

Bro dun get me wrong, I still think Biscan was one of the worst buy but all is forgiven for his one night heroics at Istanbul and more over he has already left the club...and you are right about the forgettable "Zidane", I been trying to recall his name...and I liken RB claims that Lucas is the one to fill Alonso shoes to the claims by Houllier that this forgettable French player is the new "Zidane"...

the transfer window closes without anymore strenghtening of our squad, as expected...

so we're stucked with voronin, ngog, babel as torres backup... rather surprised to see nemeth being loaned out, and not given a chance in our 1st team.. i rated him higher than ngog, he look like a "natural finisher" type of striker...

wonder how long more can our star players like stevie g & torres stay happy, before start feeling betrayed by our owners.. cos they must have been promised tat more $$ will be spent to bring in top players when they put their pen onto new long term contract recently...

yes... and he was always being played out of position, he was a CM but houllier always played him in CB..
