I think unlikely for the tips to go lower than the current 100. That why I still yet to go KTV after opening up. The only change I think will happen is when more girls come to SG, the butterfly won't need to wait for long between return.

Just to give an update.

Since the re-opening of KTVs, I have been to:

1: Empire
2: Level 9
3: Lisbo
4: Galaxy
5: Honeyland
6: Quinn

I went with 3 other bros, 4 pax in total including me.

Throughout all my trips/sessions to all the listed KTVs here, I never choose any girls. Because I cannot accept the fact that I have to tip 100$ for a girl whom I only see like 5-8 mins after 1 hour plus of butterflying. Every KTVs listed here all same. I see my other 3 bros girls, their girls all usually butterfly for like 1.5 hours to 2 hours kind. Some girl (very small %) zhun zhun come back like 1 hour come back 1 time (5-8 mins). End up, they ended up cancelling the girls and pay 30 to 50$. Most of the time, we are entertaining ourselves and singing ourselves. Playability for all these KTVs are quite low, except maybe Honeyland. To be honest, I am quite fed up with several stuffs:

1: the minimum spending shits (3-4 towers), to get a M room.

2: throughout the whole session, I only see 1 waiter come in to serve our room. But when bill time, suddenly pop out another 2 waiters, become need to tip 3 waiters. This is fucking ridiculous.

3: Level 9 still need to pay for their tidbits/peanuts ($10 per bowl), and fruit plate ($16 per plate), and to make thing worst, Level 9 also have 7% GST and 10% Service Charges added to the whole bill. If we pay Service Charges of 10% (around 30-40$) cuz we spend like 300-400$ on drinks and their fruits and peanuts, why do we need to tip 3 more waiters again (30$). One session alone, I am paying 60-70$ of service charges when I see only 1 waiter serving us. LOL this part is a joke. We have BANNED this KTV joint.

4: Also, I don't understand the part of why do we need to tip mummy 100$? What did they do? I only saw her during when she call girls come in for us to choose？ and towards the end, bill time, come in take 100$? LOL. Last time 50$ still okay, now Mami take 100$ for what? They also do nothing much. If they wanna take 100$, then go be girl lor, why be mummy?

5: Lastly, I agree to many bros here. 100$ for girl tips, I am okay. But you need to provide me with 100$ service. But now 100$ tip for girl, they provide 20-30$ service. Worse than last time 50$ tip service. Last time 50$ tip, sometimes I even have like 100$ treatment. Now 100$ tip, they give 20$ service. 1 hour plus see them one time for 5-8 mins. LOL! My bros and I have given all the KTVs listed here a chance. But every trip/session is the same old 100$ butterfly and gone for 90 mins, and only see them 5-8 mins kind. This is too much, they are treating us like Robert carrothead.

To sum up, each Session cost me $250-300 dollars after splitting the bills. End up, we also get nothing out of the whole session So I feel we need to justify for the amount paid. $300 can buy one Apple AirPods Pro already. Just saying. Or 300$ I might as well go find a FL to piak piak. The ultimate closure. HAHAHA! My bros and I are gonna retire from SGP LOCAL KTVs Scene for now. To Sum Up, now going to local KTVs, is really a waste of time and money. Time to save the money and fly to Thailand/Vietnam to enjoy.

Agree very much with what you have said here. The current value (or lack of) for KTVs is really terrible. The problem is that there are many well heeled bros that can afford this and are willing to spend. Until that group disappears - we would need to LLST and just avoid going to these places.

I am hoping some of the other more "playful" KTVs open up. The issue is that many of the girls here are now "spoilt" by this "no play $100 BS". We need new blood to come in to make the current set of girls wake up their idea as well. I am hopeful that this would turn for the better. Or there about. Only thing left is if u r desperate enough just book her at $400 per session to avoid the butterfly.

Agreed totally with you bro. It’s not about whether we can’t afford the $100 or not willing to spend but it’s really the service and playability level going down so how to justify the increase in tips and prices? Yes, almost everything has gone up in prices by 10-20% but these tips have gone up by 100%! Surely then our expectations of the girls and mummy should also go up right? I also agree on the waiters part, now more and more phantom waiters appearing when bill time and worse, don’t even have hot towels! Lol.

Best part is even when we are willing to give the tips, some girls attitude are like… it’s only $100 or for 包台 it’s only $3-500, u think very big isit? Don’t know if u guys agree with me on this. Sometimes I really feel like Robert. Just for that little bit of GFE feeling we put up with the attitude of these public toilets. Back then pre-covid bistro style OK fine safe distancing measures I understand. Now back to KTV still giving us the same BS over and over again.

Bottom Line: I don't mind paying $100 for last time $50 worth of playability at P9 / Leo / Starlight / Supreme. Place is crowded and many customers OK, I understand need to make money. But give me $25 worth of service and that kind of LJ "$100 very big ah" attitude makes me so mad.

I am surprised you all still paying like this to go KTV. Last time i already told you all that you all cannot sustain this kind of inflation should just report those bad operators against covid laws and make them shut down. Leave those good ones behind only. They never support you all and make you all happy when they are in service line then what for they should continue survive and leeching on our bros hard earned money. Some white knights even come and tell me off saying girls are surviving hard and trapped in sg and if they all closed down you all will have even limited choices to play.

Now everything is opened again, have things changed or become worse? Just follow their local rates and keep inflation low. You don't want to go overseas and find there to be another SINGAPORE.

But rather, just dont patronise them.
