Was there last weekend, HDY was not really hot, drizzling for 2 to 3 hrs almost every noon. Paragon was hot during the weekend.

Wah looks like this month better go HDY than BKK. But get bored very easily during early afternoon in HDY, few things to do except for trad massage and go farming but not a fan of farm chickens . Only few pubs which are usually empty.
Whereas in BKK, Sukhumvit starts happening in late morning/ early afternoon
Maybe spend 1-2 days in HDY and move up north after BKK flood situation improves.

You can book from travel agent there. Beside lee graden call chan travel. can book thur them or if you really scare just call up the hotel to book room price will be ex by 100bht to 150 bht.

for taxi you need to worry they will know which airplane land what time there are there to wait for u .
