Goldsmith quoted me US$1=18,200 VND yesterday. It's best to bring SGD to
change with the goldsmith. ATM card and credit card will incur transaction fee and very bad exchange rate. The discrepancy between official and unofficial
rates might not last..............

After reading all the posting here I really like to join the bros here for a night out but I am a little worry about the budget. May I know an estimate how much will the expenses be? I am staying in a hotel in the same street as bro ICEHK. Did not manage to meet bro ICEHK in his last trip as my boss arranged dinner that night. You can also try withdraw from ATM as every 2 millions VND U withdraw will cost you approx. SGD7 handling charges.Withdrawing from Credit card is not advisable as it will be treated as cash advance.

So much for a quiet relaxing night! Just arrived in HCM tonight and was expecting a quiet, easy night since I have to work with a customer tomorrow. Evidently frenching was on the menu
