Actually, as long as you have cash, any KTV is good for you to go alone. They will wash your feet with milk and clean your body with Bird's Nest
For me, I prefer KTV fun with company, especially with brothers.

Last minute thing, need to bring my ABC (American born Chinese) cousin, who doesn't speak Mandarin, for night orientation. Budget for 2 pax for 2-3 hours, inclusive of drinks, girls n maybe songs, around $400 in total.

Hi Notary, sorry for the belated reply.

Read somewhere, you're Dr Tua Gong Psychologist. Hat off to you.

That night, we went for a drinks at a microbrewery near Jln Besar. Nice place, a mixed of local n ang moh customers.

We then realised we were already in the hub of nightlife, hence, we didn't proceed to Balestier. Went in Little Angel KTV (in Chinese). Ground floor is Karaoke with 3 dragon ladies boringly playing handphone as no customer. We requested for a room and ushered to higher floor.

Damages :
Drinks $130 for 3 jugs of beers, kind of minimum consumption rule
Viet $30/buttetfly
Waiters $10/staff

The butterflies are moonlighting as they have fulltime job, so they left around 2am, the time the outlet closes.

Butterflies, so they hop from room to room. All in all, they came in 3 times. Only the first they stayed more than 20min, 2nd time 5min, last time come in to collect fee when we settled bills.

Wanted to tip more as one was very sporting but restrained by advice here not to spoil the market.

Waiters "did" their part after we rejected 2 rounds of butterfly selection. They thot we never enter flower garden, couldn't tell moth from butterfly.

The night was good. Butterflies are chatty, speak English and Mandarin, fit our linguistic needs.

Mission accomplished.
