LionsXII slump to 1-0 defeat to Terengganu Terengganu completed a hard-fought 1-0 victory over LionsXII @ the Jalan Besar Stadium on Saturday night. The away side were regarded as slight favs prior 2 the match & they successfully lived up 2 the expectation with an opportunistic win against V.Sundramoorthy's men. Both Agu Casmir & Shaiful Esah, who hv been missing due 2 injury, found themselves on the teamsheet 4 the match, with the latter starting on the left wing. LionsXII were lively fr the start, pressuring Terengganu on many occassions. Shaiful came close 2 breaking the deadlock 4 the home side in the opening 10 mins, but his volley fr inside the penalty box flew just over the crossbar. The match was noticeably halted 4 more than 10 mins aft a power trip caused 2 floodlights 2 fail. When play resumed the home side had another great chance 2 score but Firdaus Kasman's shot flew over the bar aft a great dummy by Shahril Ishak. Aft the break, it was Terengganu tat showed greater urgency 2 open the scoring & Francis Forkey Doe continued 2 trouble the LionsXII's makeshift defence as he pushed deeper 2 influence play. LionsXII failed 2 create any key chances in the 2nd-half with the exception of Casmir's miss shortly b4 Terengganu's goal. The Singapore international skied his effort when he had only the keeper 2 beat fr a good angle aft being played thru brilliantly by Shahril. Shortly aft, Terengganu punished the LionsXII defence aft a mistake by Hariss Harun. The vice-captain smashed his clearance straight @ Doe who chased the ball down b4 muscling himself in2 position 2 fire a low shot 2 the bottom far corner 2 beat Izwan Mahbud. The win ended LionsXII's recent surge in form tat saw the team pick up 2 back-2-back wins, while Terengganu increased their winning run to 4.

I was there watching the match live. Being there allows me to see the bigger picture, like how the players without the ball move to support the guy with the ball. We aren't great. A lot of the senior players suck. There is this no 3. Super lazy, doesn't track players, passes like shit. Got sub out. The crowd was scolding him like almost all the time. We paid the price for not putting on a striker. When our players attack, there isn't anyone to pass to, no running man, nothing. Sharill Ishak can't do much as a striker except to pass the ball around. I think a real striker won't always receive the ball with his back facing goal. When Agu came on, there was at least a target to aim to pass to.
I think the buck lies with Sundram. Stop saying you only got 1 fit striker. If it's mid-way through the season, we can say you are unlucky with injuries. But for us to start the season with 1 fit striker and 3 injured ones, then you got to explain why you would include strikers on long term injury into the squad? To play 60 mins at home without a striker is really terrible. For those who attended the match and watch Agu Casmir warm up before the match, it is clear that he has fully recovered. The crowd was complaining about Sundram's tactics. The abuse is quite bad, something you and I can't catch by watching TV at home.

Seriously, no excuses for the loss. There were no midweek matches prior to this and it is a full week of rest after their Sabah's match. Dui na seng!! I'm fed up with the performance of the LionsXII n Sundram!  Ham ga chan to them.

Of the 3 groups of supporters, 1 chinese, 1 malay, 1 indian. I like how going to M League allows the races to chill out together. It's nice. Going to M league matches is a good date for me. Allows me to show myself uninhabited and to understand the girl more. See which girl is more 'sporting'. I ever had a girl who shouted 'Butoh' louder than me. I got shocked... Other girls just screamed whenever the ball enters the penalty box.
