The difference in our sch does nt deter our relationship in any way.. i will still remember i will always wait for her at the sch bus stop. Usually her classes end later than me as she have lecture till abt 4pm.... After sch i would take bus 13 to wait for her then... and that is the year when i own my first pager...

Anyway back to the story...

Those r the days with Yvonne when she was in college... I would always sent her hm from sch... really missed those days when i would do my hmwork in Marine Parade Library while waiting for her to finish sch... It is a stressful period for both of us as we have to prepare hard for the exams... Of course whatever time we have.. we would still date each other... feelings for each other remain unchanged...

Just some sharing... this is one of the songs which both of us loved... would always tune in this song while on the bus together....

Another year have passed and the results for my O level have been released.. Score a total of 3 for the best 6... As usual i score all the Tua Peh Kong for my maths and combined science... have C5 for these both subjects... Knn cannot go to JC... Entry level for JC must be within 20 points for the best 6. Bobian my only option is either poly or 3 years Pre-U. Being poor in Maths.. i went to pre u and got into one of the Pre U which is near to my sec sch...

As usual Yvonne did well and went to JC 2
The day when the results was released... Yvonne pei me to sch to collect my results...

Yvonne: How is it?
Me: Nt my ideal score...
Yvonne: Let me take a look...
Me: Very bad rite...
Yvonne: Nt really at least u can still go Poly or Pre U...

The days in Pre U is rather challenging as there are new things to learn... Economics is my worst subject... which i really hated all the Supply and Demand theory etc... Soon i have a group of friends for study group... ( A mix of boys and girls). The boys there r more guai compared to my sec sch though there r some semi bengs ( nt too gd... nt too bad those kind of people). This is the kind of people which i like to hang out out as those too guai is really too bored at times!... Of course my best buddies remain as Fatty and Ah Keong who seem to share a special bond with me...

Sharon: Want to join us later for group study?
Me: No lah... u guys go ahead... have to sent my gf hm later... sorry...

Ah Yong: hey u nt tired meh... everytime have to sent her hm...
Me: No lah.. nt tired at all... in fact i look forward to that....

Reaching Mac.. i go ahead to order her meal for us when i bump into Bruce they all...

Me: Today u do yr group study here...

Soon Yvonne finish her A levels and went to Uni and i was promoted to Pre U 2... Soon the west side especially Bouna Vista become my haunt out.. cos i would always wait for her there to sent her hm... The stress level is even higher compared to her college days... and usually she would be stressed out... I would always crack some jokes to humor her and lend her my shoulders whenever she is tired... the Train journey back hm is rather long but i do nt find it a chore to sent her home.. As a matter of fact.. i really hoped that the journey would nt take longer so that i can have more time for her... Those r the days...

Back to the story... still have some time before lunch hour end...

The days at Pre U soon passed quickly and we dun have as much time to meet up as before since her days at Uni... Studies r rather hectic for her... As such weekend to us is especially important as we can spent time together after church service. ( I was soon converted to a christian after being influenced by her). At times when i miss her badly... i would make my own cards and write to her... ( Making cards is more sincere compared to just buying a card)... I would even hand mailed these cards by putting them in the letter box... so that she can received it on the same day... She will be thrilled and happy to received these small surprises... As for me.. her happiness in her smile is enough to make my heart melt... Things were done to maintain our relationship and soon at the age of 20... i completed my A levels and she was in second year of her Uni...

Meanwhile the days of my enlistment draw nearer and time to us was more precious.... Personally i am worried that my NS will affect our relationship( That is the main concern when army guys was serving NS)... will feelings changed due to the lack of time with our gf?... I still remembered just a few days before my enlistment... we spend the day at East Coast... and cuddled each other tightly at the same wave breaker whereby i first hold her hands...

That nite is beautiful... and my emotions rise... really hoping that time would really froze at this moment...

Yvonne: Take care of yrself in camp....
Me: i will...
Yvonne: And pls call me every nite when u r fee... i will wait for yr call.

Finally the day of enlistment soon arrived and i was sent to Nee Soon Camp for my 2 mths PTP and BMT. Otw to the camp.. i held her photo tightly...

Army for that time was really siong for us... ( Cb.. long time never run so much liao ever since quitting from gang....)... Ah Keong and Fatty r better than me... dun need to serve PTP as they have passed their Nafa test... unlike me who failed in my 2.4.... Knn...
