U're right that budget airline is more expensive sometimes. Jetstar Asia cost around 8,800THB to fly back for Christmas Eve.... Air Asia worst! I think around 10,000THB up! But Cathay Pacific is only 6,650THB!

One thing to add is that maybe you can try to get used to Thai food first? Somehow, I cant seem to get used to the dried, cold chilli taste which is present in some[Maybe most?] dishes.

Eat those cooked ones lor.

They also have chicken rice, duck rice, noodle soup, omelette, sweet and sour food, 40% of food also similar to Singapore food.

No need to definitely eat Som Tum or Kung Dance. kekeke

Deep fried locusts are a local favourite there

Anyway, was wondering if can talk to OKT after girl ORD to get some details? Do you think they still have some connections with the girl?

Another thing I considered doing as a back-up plan in case my tirak bails on me is to find some info from the other WLs that worked with her before she left but are still around. Maybe they might know a thing or two about her future plans.

I doubt they can vanish without a trace but its possible they'll make it difficult. Ah but this is just my paranoia at work.... first time travelling alone and without informing friends and family

Why should the OKT tell you? U wouldn't be the 1st one to ask and definitely not the last to ask him too.

The WLs that know a thing or two about her will never tell you lah. You don't even patronise them or give them money. Why should they tell you and help you?

Wah you really damn garang. No inform friends and family!!!! Then they going file missing person report? You want AWOL because of this girl ah?
