Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

At this point, I think it is more RA's fault than the team.
The players have indeed been too relaxed in the past, and not shown intensity needed to befit a team in the top tier, but that is a problem we know.
RA has done work on it and the team have improved somewhat.

But RA himself has said that some players are not suited to play his 3-4-3 and he would like to get some players in.
You make unsuitable players play in your new way, and then you criticise them as the WORST TEAM IN MAN UTD history.

Very Very Very WTF.....

Damn Engineer cannot do accounting, all numbers also.....worst Engineer ever....

RA has to stfu at this point.
Good or bad, settle internally, not push all the blame to the team.
Imagine how demoralised the team must feel now.
Even if Man Utd recover, some players will not feel RA made them better and harbor resentment.

Ruben Amorim, like all the players in Manchester United, needs to prove they deserve to be at Man Utd.
Not just talk the talk, has to walk the walk.
Some good results here and there does not mean they can play at that standard all the time, fatigue sets in, plays get countered.

I still want RA to work out, but things he say sometimes are just very baffling.

But they did churn out good performance against Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City, right?
And it is the same 3-4-3.
It is indeed very baffling, to me too.

I strongly felt the pussies lack a very accomplished striker.
I can see they are able to create chances but somehow they have a problem putting the ball into the net.
So, after a while, they feel dejected and then they give up completely.

You can play badly, but it is the goals that wins you games.

Well said marmots...he is talking far too much rather than doing anything tangible or concrete to help the team improve their weaknesses n win games e.g. implementing improved tactics, inject winning mentality among his players etc etc ....he shd walk the talk n not just talk only ...that anyone of us can also do...he is pointing out the obvious...watever he says everyone already knows...all the team's problems r already known n not hidden....even the managers of opposition teams that plays against them know wat r their weaknesses n problems n how easily can score against them like they having a GK who can't deal successfully most of the time with crosses n corner kicks n r vulnerable to them

wat the pundits say is true, his task is to quickly find ways n means to fix the problems so the team can start winning matches once again instead of now everyone knows they can never win their remaining matches if Amad don't score as the other players r just simply not talented or capable enough of scoring even one goal each...no crosses to the opposition penalty box to try to frighten their GK and defenders into making mistakes or make them fumble so they can score goals easily, instead always passing the ball backwards to their own half when they r pushed back by opposition defenders when their attacks r broken up by the opposition team...if they continue to play in this ai mai ai mai schoolboy way how to win any games even if they r relegation teams below them ..e.g they even lost to wolves n humiliated by them 2-0 recently a team who r below them in the table n truth be told they would hv been defeated by bottom team Southampton if not for Amad's last minutes heroics

I was reading an article on Man Utd, it dissected how Man Utd players spread out when a player was bringing in the ball.
It was not just getting into good positions, it was also how the Man Utd players draw defenders away to create space for others.

Clubs will have people who look at videos of play and devise counter strategies.
That's why Man Utd can't play at the same level each time, cause when it gets countered, it seems they become lost.
Also, if 1 match per week, then perform at high level of intensity must be a norm, but if 3 matches in 10 days, really hard to do constant high octane running.

I still feel Amad has more impact as wb, simply cos the marking is not as tight when he receives the ball, his speed and dribbling can leave most defenders in the dust.
Teams will worry about him and send 2 players to counter him, creating more space.
If the center gets too tight, he can still switch play to the other no. 10 (Garnocho/Fernandes/Mount) down the left.

The inability to score is worrying, Højlund is not doing the job well compared to his first season.
Too bad RvN has not remained at the club to coach strikers, he would have made a difference I feel.

A month ago, I expected Man Utd to make it into top 4-6 for Euro spot.
Now, it would be an added bonus if Man Utd made it instead.
Hopefully things can get better in Feb when the transfer window ends, as it can cause quite some stir/unrest/uncertainty in the teams with all the news of potential outgoings.

Would be great if can move Rashford and Case on, save a good sum.
