this is wat i call a classic 'wat if' situation..if u think tat it feel beta if u the one who dump her..then mayb its ur ego at play rather than anything..in a relationship sometimes it doesnt matter who let go first..

the one who stay might not be the sadder one..the one who go might not be the happier one..i read somewhere before tat sometimes for the one who get dumped..its easier for the person to move on..while the person who did the dumping might end up neva moving on becoz of guilt

But I would say majority of those who were dumped would find it hard to move on. For my case, my ex already plan to settle down end of this year or next.

age 17-22: JC or tertiary, university + little bit parktor + cheong disco/pub
age 23-29: start earn $, party like siao zabor + little bit parktor (some already start to marry during age 25 onwards)

age 30: CRISIS! haven't marry, scared friends + relative gossip say unwanted. faster anyhow find 1 guy, faster parktor, faster go steady, marry within 1.5yrs after dating.

we say the 1 we marry is not the 1 we love most. actually the girl is also same thing, she didn't marry because she love the man, but bcos she scared people say she "can't marry out", "nobody want", "old maid"

they say unmarried woman only 2 type; bachelorette or spinster.

LOL!!! in all fairness, there's always 2 sides of the coin. we men say we didnt marry for love, the women chorus in unison too.

aiyah, not say i want to condemn them, bt they behave like some qian jing xiao jie.. maciam owe them the world. at first marry them as the husband, wait later downgrade to become the slave..... must work like bloody donkey to finance her tai tai wannabe lifestyle.

yes is true, in today's society, a good family man addresses issues of the home, apart from his breadwinning duties. even if he's not the breadwinner, he still have to help with domestic issues... but in the context for marrying sg girl...... marry cert = death treaty.

i never regret choosing a foreign wife, bcos i'm now a much happier man than most of my frens who marry 1 with pink IC. some frens say foreign wife is like time share...... but at least is not a death treaty that includes lifetime of debts, slavery, mental torture & most importantly........ lousy sex.

One thing I learn from marriage life is that once shes your wife and as years goes by, the true characters of your wife would show its true colours. By then, lan lan bear with it.

it depends how long the couple been together, depends how well the couple see each other's pattern. i could be wrong bt i think its important for the couple to know each other's background, observe wat happens in the comfort of her home. sometimes, how they behave at home is enough to tell us what to expect in time to come.

things to observe: does she lift a finger to help mom in the kitchen? who does the chores at home; the mom? the maid? herself? she do chores for everyone at home?

of cos not saying that we're looking for a maid in the wife to be, bt her attitude, upbringing & integrity at home is very good indication, what kind of wife she will become.

some couples during our parents era are both working parents, and they still managed the home pretty well. so if today, the sg gals say they have work commitment, then there's only 2 conclusion; poor time management or simply bo chup.

i got a frd who is very happy with his singlehood...got gals go after him, take care of him..etc..but he does not choose them..

few yrs backhe met this gal in his company..all the chasing n then courtship n then marriage..

at 1st the gal seems very gd..everything he says oso can..but now..she is the boss of the family! haf to take drinks for her..not happy shoutat him..etc..

haiz..gals...but LL haf to acede to her lor..i realli pity him..

I guess its not wrong to say before marriage, the couple tend to hold hand, walk closely together like two loving birds. After marriage and after having family, the husband would be walking metres ahead and the wife left behind. Its a trend..
