Gentle remainder for those wanted to go Pa Auk Hermitage. The opening hour is kind of odd may be due to their meditation schedules(do not want any disturbances from noisy visitors )

I looked into this place yesterday,something caught my attention.

There are many things that caught my attention,but the net that covers the guy meditating...i am wondering if it can be purchase in Batam. (not sold in Singapore tho)

I have also been reading about this place too. Its going to be on my to-do list in my future trips.

Also,while looking deeper at Pa Auk Hermitage,i also found a really beautiful beach which is a little offshore off Batam island (part of Batam too)....

...not that i am interested in Batam beaches,but its one of the cleanest beaches i have seen in Batam,and its a small boat ride away (i think will cost about 100k rupiah per pax or between 600k to 800k rupiah to rent the whole boat) from Telaga Punggur Harbour at Batam.

Nobody would believe this little clean island is part of Batam,hehehe...its called Pulau Tunjuk.

This Pulau Tunjuk reminds me of Pawai and Sudong (2 small Singapore island),whereby one can almost walk over to the other side of the island during a very low tide. Meaning one can literally walk from sudong to pawai when the tide is at very low level,hehehe...

I could not imagine this kind of beach could be in Batam?? It looks so different from the "beach" one can see from Harbour Bay restaurants at low tide

Anyone went there and can confirm it really looks like that?
It must be THE PLACE to go with a special special girl. I just wonder... If I go there with a small boat, can I really trust they will come back to take us back?
