the cheaper clinics circumcize by using local anesthesia and clamps/knives while in hospitals you will be under general anesthesia. Some also use laser to do the job. In terms of which looks better, I cannot comment as I have not seen many newly-cut cocks. I went the cheap route and am happy with the results though.
