With the recent unfortunate events happening past few days at southern thailand, is it safe to go Hadyai now? Have to be extra cautious!

I agree, if possible postpone trip there. If "die die" must go, pls fly there and don't take coach or drive there.

And i understand now the separatist are bringing these to the cities of Thailand. Waah, i take tat as bad news! Hope these bombing wont spread like wild fires! Fear these separatist might target hotels/entertainment outlets. By the way any bros can tell me how far (distant) is Yala from Hadyai?

think Yala should be quite near to pattani and from hatyai to the latter should be around 1hr and 30 min....perhaps some hatyai old birds can help...thks
