Better buy a condo in Chiangmai, order a pop corn machine from Lazada Thailand and invite some SYT to your new condo to kin popcorn. Like this your 100k can last long long and even can rent out for rental income when you not staying. Also since you 30+, go and get a HDB and fully paid it if you can, so you can have rental income to sustain your semi retire life in Chiangmai

You often see them owning cars, buying new phones, cameras and all when they are living day by day. That's why so many resort to selling their body for that quick income. Of course there are exceptions but they mostly live in the country and you will hardly be exposed to them. But generally speaking, city girls are this kinda pattern I was lucky 1 of my ex wasn't that bad. Only asking me for some financial aid for really important things like her hospital bills and she has a proper decent job. That being said, her pattern also one kind. Will intermittently dissapear without notice and when I ask about it she just say she very stress having alot of problems. You see alot of farang marry thai women but we all know the reason they do that is for financial stability and we are no exception. They rather choose a wife-beating drunkard who runs away after impregnating them if you are nice but poor. |

thailand is not an easy place for newbies. start in singapore first if you can and expand your business to overseas. also, connections make everything easier but then again money determines how strong your connection is most of the time. thais love thais. |

Re: Re-location advice
Seems like only when one is older and earned enough do they then think about relocating to BKK or CM for less stressful / retirement lifestyle.
Sighz, when one is younger and want to start at a new place really tough Not enough money etc. wait till old liao then find those 40s thai as wife is real sad though.... I was thinking of migrating there in my mid 30s, look for a early to mid 20s wifey and settle down happily every after. tough life. |

Re: Re-location advice
Moving from SG to BKK is like no move at all.... Both are big cities, full of ppl and cars. When u get old, u tend to move slower, think slower... I will move to province....

i think it also depends on your expectation of the kind of life you want to lead when starting out in a new country. look at the prc chinese many do not have much money and education, but they dare venture out of china to make a living. they take up any kind of job that can make money. |
