Just a little update. Was there this week on a rainy Monday night. Yes smallish place. More crowd starts pouring in around 1am. PRs are more on the mid 20s mature side. I'd say not bad if I'm not in the mood for SYT. In fact some of them really have hot bodies! My gosh boobs are spilling out! Did not establish any contact with PRs as I'm with a female companion. I actually like the atmosphere here. Clientele here is not so rowdy. Music level is acceptable. Would re-visit this place again without a female companion.
i will bring my laptop. so please update me if somewhere got happening stuff.
by the way, can some kind soul post the address for X-Club?
Cheers~~~hope we can have a safe trip, peace out.......
I had emailed to you the list....the list is free for all and no criteria or conditions set even for newbies......enjoy yourself....
One guy asked if I have a list in hanoi....no, I dun have because I dun follow hanoi thread...cheers...

Just re-open, cant comment
X-club has also re-open. how true dont know. Address should be 30 Nguyen Cu Trinh D1 . It is located opposite Metropole Hotel on Tran Hung Dao Street.
Oh Yeah, when you guys take down adresses form internet or look at maps, make sure you also take down the District Number, Different districts can have the same road name, and some roads stretch through 2-3 districts.
For example, you can have 123 Nguyen Trai D1, and also 123 Nguyen Trai D5.

Based on the location of the hotel, the price is right. most of the hotels around that area are all going for about USD$35 - USD$40. SOme of the neighbouring hotels are going for as high as USD$110 b4 Tax.
If usd15-25 is your range, i suggest you try the pack backers area on Pham Ngu Lao Street in D1. Cant help you here becuase I dont know much about the hotels in that area. Never booked there before

You can get USD28 (Xuan Loc) USD30 (Lien Ann) both with breakfast but not the buffet style, just pho or ban mi with fried eggs. Another I heard is USD21 but no breakfast. (I do not know the name but can check tonight) All three located in Le Anh Xuan D1, behind New World hotel.

There're 2 Lan Lan Hotels. The one on Bui Thi Xuan, D1 has cheaper rates. Lan Lan Hotel 1 is not "girl friendly" for overnight. Correct me if I'm wrong. It's strange how they never include Lan Lan Hotel 1 on their website. Probably they want to tout the pricier Lan Lan Hotel 2?
In HCMC I find that the more lok cok (run down) the hotel is, the more girl friendly it is.
For your budget of US$15-25 you may want to stay at Bui Thi Xuan, D1 or Pham Ngu Lao, D1 and Le Anh Xuan, D1 as suggested by others.

Arena was never and will never be a pool salon. the pool salon you talking about is The Ky..Arena use to share the same entrance walkway..
it is located at 102 nam khy Khoi Nghia D1. Ask the hotel conceriege to direct you. dont take taxi. If take taxi should only be VND12K - 15K
Thank you again Reaper. Took a walk just now and found the place. Played with my friend for about an hour and two bottles of beer cost only 121,000 D. On the way back to hotel notice a place call SEVEN, from the lighting looks like some entertainment place. Anyone been there can share some experience? I am not the adventurous type so dare not explore. Thank you in advance.

Small disco with PRs. about the same size of the pool hall you went to earlier. If not adventurous type, you will be very bored here in HCMC....
You cannot always rely on others to provide you with the info.
