If you are heading to Hdy this Wed, better get your hotel book early and make sure you tour farms early as the crowd of cheongster will be flooding in with Msia long weekend.

I usually change in Hdy or Mini Tour at Changlun. From what I understand is money changer in Hdy use that day current exchange rate while the changer in Mini Tour use the previous day rate, I guess there is not too much of difference unless you have sharp fall or rise on the day. I think its worth more to change directly from SGD to Baht, using RM in Hdy will lose about 10% value and lots of estbalishment use 1:1 rate for RM.
