So I made a short walk to Le Anh Xuan St to Lien An hotel, where I'm typing this forum now. I was greeted by the Manager Mr Khoi, who spoke excellent Mandarin. Mr Khoi explained that the rate is USD 32 for standard room and USD 60 plus for Deluxe. !!
You can ask for reduction to USD30, that is what they offer me. The first time I stay there they charge USD35 but then I move to Xuan Loc which is just 3 doors away at USD28. Basically they offer the same service but Xuan Loc closing for 6 months starting 5-10-08 for renovations.
