FR ... nothing much to shout about for the trip ... Just normal ... hang out in Casinos to have some free beers and cigarettes ... then proceed to my fav disco - Gossip ... then Apocalypse .... but do discovered some places for massage and food .... (think my next trip will get all the contacts and address for some minor contribution to the thread) ... and give you a full FR

So you will be going to HCM soon ... hope to hear your FR then ... if possible, I will try to arrange my trip there during your stay in HCM ... cheers

Yeah, I like the casinos there so much ... got free beers, free cigarattes, the dealers and waitress are friendly too and also very easy to get to know them and ask them out ... kekeke the only problem was if you loose money then a bit anti-climax lorr else ... I think when you travel alone, it is a good place to pass time

Normally I stay in Caravelle, so I used to go Club Vegas, Casino in Sheraton or Club Royal in Riverside Hotel

Yeah, I got your travel schedule from you signature, will try to arrange my trip to HCM during these period and hope to catch up ...

Bro Ken, around your area is District 1 aka Red Light District. So there are plenty of places to go around ... if you like clubs and look see look see some gals, you can go to Gossip, Club 97, Club 96, America or Apocalypse (these are the clubs that I know at the moment) .... if you like Casinos ... you can go in and look see look see to have a few beers too before you proceed to the clubs ... so can save some beer money but make sure you dun loose money

In Casino Club Royal (Riverside Hotel), there is a Karaoke with gals companion but I never tried b4 ... you can check that out too ... If you are hungry at night and would like to have some good food, you can tell the taxi driver to go Dinh Ky or the Restoran just right opposite Dinh Ky (dunno what is the name) they serve good food ... especiall the Vietnamese "Lau" (we called it steamboat), yummy ... i love it so much.

If you want to pass time and have a 2 hours plus massage, hair wash and facial, you can try out this place, really value for money ... This place is located in Bui Thi Xuan, District 1 (Just the road behind Dinh Ky Restorant) and 2 shop lots sticking to Sun Flowers Hotel there is a Beauty Saloon (sorry, I forget the name) with tons of pretty and sexy gals (which you can see them all from the window when you walk pass the saloon) for you to pick for massage, facial and hair wash (these are the services I picked during my last trip, there are more services like shaving, nail polishing and etc) ... I discovered this place accidentally and just told myself why not give it a try ... and this beauty saloon really surprised me .... the services for hair wash, facial and massage only cost me VND80,000 and VND100,000 tips for the gals .... the entire process was nearly 3 hours ... hell, it is better than Thailand (but dun compare the skills with Thailand) ... there is no hanky panky stuff here (maybe I didn't ask, as they will take you to a private room for massage after the facial and hair wash - for me i just rub rub the gal only, think you can try your luck), just that if you feel like having a pretty and sexy gal to massage for you, this is the place that you can give it a try ... if you want to date them out ... then it is all depends on you larr ... just my humble encoutered in HCM and hope it helps ...

Since you like casinos so much you should consider hitting Macau. It's ten times more happening!

Here's a little recommendation for eating. Not sure it's been mentioned here before. Din Ky is just opposite Tan Hai Van. Delicious food with reasonable pricing. Personally I think the food at Tan Hai Van is not good. Din Ky is always packed with customers. I know there's a few more good restaurants on Nguyen Trai.

Haha Froggy you posted about Din Ky restaurant too. That restaurant opposite Din Ky should be Tan Hai Van. Unfortunately I don't like the food at Tan Hai Van.

In order to have the free beers you need to play a substantial amount. At least US$20 or more. Haha next time go and hoot the whisky while playing slot machines.

Macau's casinos are very grand and gigantic. Some even have cabaret shows and band performances in their gaming halls. However no free alcohol unless you're high stakes VIP.

I sleep very late. When people set off for work only then I sleep. Hehe.

Casino is Sheraton is called Palazzo. Grand Hotel on Dong Khoi has D'Palm. Majestic Hotel also has. These 2 are located within 100m of Club Royal. Duxton Hotel has Victoria Vip Club.

Casino in CLub Royal is Called Jokers. The KTV is called Club Royal. Next door to Casino at New World is CAtwalk KTV.

The Saloon is called Le Duyen 3.

NO body goes to Tan Hai Van for the food. They go there to look at FLs and try to pick up those who are not able to get customers

You dont have to play to ask for alcohol / cigerattes / food. You can walk in, ask for a beer, take a walk one round, and than leave.
