like i said, it is solely because of my medical condition that made the operation painful. other than that, today is day 5 coming day 6 of the procedure, all is doing well, just slight pain at the stitches area, where i feel like my skin is being pulled. erection isnt that bad of a pain yet.

Great to see everyone sharing their experiences here! Will be glad to submit my FIRST post in here on my own experience too! Here goes:

Clinic: SIDEK WOMEN'S CLINIC at Novena Specialist Centre
Date of visit: 09-09-2013
Cost: ~$1800 ($650 claimable from Medisave [Dr Sidek will teach you how], cash portion around $1200)
Type of procedure: LASER Circumcision

Why Circumcise?
Because of hygiene purposes and hopefully more "feeling" during sex (Yet to find out..)

Pre-Op
Booked an appointment via telephone and went straight to the clinic. Greeted by 3 ladies at the reception, registered my particulars and that is when they will ask whether you would like to go through a consultation or head straight for the operation. I chose the former as I would want to find out a bit more on the options and such before heading under the LASER. At this point in time, the receptionist will also pass you a tube of cream. This is to be rubbed all around your penis and scrotum so that it will provide an initial anesthetic effect before they apply the local anesthesia (It will take an approximate waiting time of 45 minutes to 1 hour to feel the effect, something like Deep Heat Rub but not so hot, just a numbing feeling). The receptionist say is to save time because after applying and the consultation, we can proceed with the operation. I chose not to do so and headed for the consultation first.

Consultation
Was welcomed by Dr Sidek, a very friendly and warm person. He started by asking me questions on why I wanted to do this and went on explaining the different types of circumcision styles, e.g. high cut, normal cut or low cut. This will differ from individual because it depends on the tightness of the foreskin and so on, but in the end he will choose the style that deems fit for my tool. One thing he mentioned was that although LASER is more expensive, but it really is so much better than using knife because the wound would heal much faster with much lesser risk of infection. He would also create small talk and even asked where I got to know him, saying must be from SBF. He also told me of when I will feel pain e.g. during the application of anesthetic and also post-op and a host of other things regarding circumcision. Anyways, after the consultation, proceeded on to apply the cream and had my waiting session before the operation began. Anyway, had to sign indemnity form and make payment and also submit particulars for Medisave for them to process as well.

Operation
I was led to a room to get changed into my surgery attire and was provided a locker to store my personal belongings in. After that, headed to the operation table. I must say it felt pretty scary (First time doing an operation, had never been through one before), especially when there were 2 young ladies (One of them not bad one name called Winnie ) assisting him in the procedure.

Now here comes the important part. My attire was being lifted up to expose my penis (Completely shaven of course) and at that time, it was already feeling numbed. Dr Sidek then proceeded on to say that he would apply the anesthetic and some pain might be felt. True enough, he injected it into the area a couple of times, though I did not see it, but could feel it (didn't hurt at all due to the effect of the cream). But then, there was to be that one injection, this he would give a precaution first. When he inject that time wah the feeling is ji tao go straight through the urethra, the part where the urine comes out from man. This one I tell you feel like one time bullet shoot through your brother and come out from your ass . ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE. But once you can tahan that, then no problem already. The operation then proceeded on from there.

He proceed using the LASER machine to cut away the excess foreskin, and even asked if I would like to keep the skin (NO!). The process was smooth throughout, even the stitching, taking about 30 minutes to complete. Really nothing much to comment on this process because it was damn smooth, even with 2 girls looking at my brother the whole time. KUDOS TO DR SIDEK MAN! After the stitching, the assistant (Not Winnie ) proceeded to clean up my area and apply some anti-bacterial cream around the stitches and tada, everything was complete.

Post-Op
Changed back to my own clothes, thanked Dr Sidek and proceeded on to collect my medication, which included post-surgery pills, painkillers, some other pill and the same anti-bacterial cream. Left the clinic and headed back home straight. Actually I quite siao because I walked from Orchard all the way back home, so bros please don't follow my example. Felt pretty weird throughout the whole journey as the whole groin area was numbed.

Day 1: Op Day
Then numbing feeling started to subside about 4 hours after the surgery and true enough, that's where the first feeling of slight pain will come in. The penis head was a little bulgy and the surrounding area also bloated up due to the operation and anesthetic. Main pain came from the stitched up area but isn't something that a real man can't handle. Urination felt a little weird as I don't know where to grab so let it free play, but lucky I marksman so no problem. The difference now is that after urination, cannot use the foreskin to check clear and finish off the last drops, so just dangle dangle and then use some water to wash off the tip. Showering proved to be a little challenging because I did not soap the area, just used water to rinse a bit and then a dry towel to tap dry. After that, have to apply the anti-bacterial cream and take my medication too.

Day 2 to Day 6 (To cut the long story a little shorter..):
A little more pain started to come in during the next following days as morning wood and all the sexy ladies around Singapore would cause my brother to mari kita, so must tahan. Surprisingly, after the operation, I could barely make myself think of anything erotic so as to prevent an erection and cause the pain man. I believe the bros here will experience the same thinking. The swelling and everything began to subside but the feeling was still pretty uncomfortable as the head is being exposed to friction with my underwear, but ok lah just need to tahan can already. The important part now is the maintenance and taking careful steps to recover from the surgery. Here are some of the steps that I took (Should be quite obvious but nonetheless)..

1. After urination, clean up the tip using water or tissue to ensure no urine remains, to prevent any infection.

2. Religiously take the medication and apply the recovery cream.

3. DO NOT THINK OF PORN, SEX, YOUR GF IN HER MOST EROTIC MOMENT OR CHALLENGE YOUR BROTHER TO ERECT. This one must depend on your mental power man.

4. Wear boxers to keep the area aerated as much as possible and do not sit for too long, get up and walk around at times.

Anyway, my review is tomorrow so let's see what Dr Sidek will say of my progress so far. Have not been able to cock check clear for some time, but hopefully this will all end up well. Will post more soon to keep the bros here updated and informed, so that you can make your choice to keep your brother in the dark or let it forever see the light of day.

it will slowly become tighter but fully retracting the foreskin is ok. just do it slowly. however, it is recommended that you do it as a ritual, when going to the toilet to pee, retract the foreskin, when bathing, retract the foreskin to wash the insides. but you really need to keep doing it if not will be super tight or back to original state again. you can also get some steroid cream from the doctor to aide the stretching. however, like it said, once you tear your foreskin, or even the slightest of cuts on the foreskin, after it has healed, it will become tighter. so after a few years of contemplating, decided to get it cut.

just finished my review with dr. sidek. apparently he said it is not pus but just new skin growing. forgot the term he used. definitely not granulation. he suggested to soak myself in a bath tub with salt water and also gave me antibiotics again to let me have a ease of mind. going back again in another 2 weeks for final review. hope everything will be fine by then.

he is going on a holiday next week bros. better book your appointments fast before he flys!



just a question to bros here. the nurse (not winnie =( ) said that the stitches will fall off in one months time. is this always the case or is she just mentioning that it will fall off completely in one months time?

yeah it will generally start to disintegrate after 2 to 3 weeks. by then your scarline would have already closed up and the stitches have served their purpose. this was the phase i hated since the ends tend to dry up and harden and stick into my sensitive flesh around the area. u can accelerate the process by applying some hydrogen peroxide on the exposed stitches. i also applied vasline to keep the stitches moist.

haha. thanks bro. when im applying the anti bacterial cream on it, when i touch the stitches, wow, the feeling is like. electrifying. a couple of stitches has fall off. one of the stitches on the top fell off, but have a hole there. zzz. now im carrying a small bottle of vaseline going around. when i can i will apply some once i feel uncomfortable.

now i am thinking about it, bros please help me decide.
-how much will it be at Khoo teck puat hospital?

Don't worry about any holes. mine healed nicely and can barely detect any sign of stitching now. just eat vitamin c and take some zinc pills to fight any infection.

oh yah the size of my head grew too after the foreskin was removed. my gf was scared the first time she saw my post circ full erection. hahaha. but sex for the both of us is better now.

coming to the first anniversary of my circumcision now. really have no regrets at all getting it done.

please read through the whole thread. bros here have posted many useful contacts and their experiences. i was also hesitant and nervous like u until i booked an appointment at a clinic. consult a doctor and he will advise what's best for u.
