maybe its the man's owned ability/ destinity of life? if the man is capable/ sucessful in life in the first place, why would he wanted to be with a wl, instead of pursuing a marriage life with a normal local woman?

Thanks for sharing. I have two friends with same outcome and worse, both divorced in the end and left with nothing while the ex-wives went back to flesh trade. Not sure if it is a curse to be with a wl. With singapore inflationary living, unless the man and the wl went into some successful business, otherwise it is a struggle unless the man has a stable high income without having the wife to work. But usually most wls have wuite high upkeep. Therefore end of day, really need to think carefully before jumping into fire pit. Not to mention the daily drama especially when quarrels broke out and the pasts be brought forward.

My theory is that for them to choose WL wife, they themselves are mentally looking to be savior or something and might not be so successful in normal non transactional relationship, WL themselves are not so stable so maybe they will have lots of drama and up and down. Drama and ups and downs saps energy, therefore less energy to attend to business or job or other venture, therefore less financially successful in the long run.

Nothing wrong with falling in love, just the setting is wrong. The WL are all there to make a living and doing sex work comes with some mental difference with normal girls.
