Amansari needed more than 6 months before restarting operations again. VIP not only had to contend with the BIB but also against the MFRD & Drug squad too. I agree it is safer to go to their small branches for the time being.

Some lessons to be learnt here...... VIP had a good thing going for them but the mistake thier boss made was to appoint an Ipoh ah beng to run the show after the previous manager left. Firstly this ah beng is young and not experience in running spa as his forte was pushing pills in nightspots /ktvs & shakehead joints. Old habits die hard and I am sure his previous associates must have psycho him to introduce this sideline in VIP too.

Heard from my riding kakis VIP not off the hook yet...... there are follow up checks scheduled by the various agencies for the coming weeks.

Was in JB today and intended to go Paradise spa when receive wechat message from 222. Dunno how she knew I was in JB..... maybe she got tracking my hp
Anyway arrange to meet her in VIP after 5pm as she is not working few days liao and need time to travel down from her home.

Not much crowd at VIP..... only 4 pax including myself. Also not many girls either. Food was only maggi mee n bread as buffet dishes not catered today. Also no hot water in the shower. New faces for the canteen / locker staff.... spoke to one guy and he is from indonesia..... only 2nd day at work. Dunno what happen to all the previous banglas. Repair work is being done here n there. 222 finally arrived @ 5.30pm and we went down to the 3rd level rooms. As we were having shower and cursing the lack of hot water..... the lights went off. My balls shrank as I thought another raid and even 222 freak out and started dressing up and ran outside. But lucky was false alarm as it was power trip by one of the repair workers. But mood gone liao and aborted mission..... then 222 suggested to go hotel instead. She spoke to the captain and he made arrangement at Grand Sentosa Plaza for 2 hour room booking. Was asked to pay rm536 before going up to the room.

After my session with 222..... thinking back on today's experience I would not want to go through that again. Even though VIP is open again but it is still not fully operational and the staff n girls are still jittery and anxious working there at this period of time. I think I shall take a break from this spa or do takeout service if I really want their girls.

Bro, love your reviews and frs but don't know why you are so negative about the posters talking about the recent developments for VIP Spa. Both you and blur say nothing to worry earlier, but VIP raided exactly as how other bros warned.

Yes, up to cheongsters to take risk but if other bros aware of issues with spa, I very much appreciated them letting the rest of us know. There are many places in JB to cheong so when one shop is targeted, then go to another one.

Meanwhile thanks to the other bros for the info and even if it's just speculation at least appreciate the warning to avoid this place until things cool down a bit.

She was not working initially but came down to VIP after we made arrangements via wechat. From VIP we adjourned to Grand Sentosa hotel after the scare we encountered in VIP.
Dunno whether she return to VIP later after our session as we both went separate ways from the hotel.

She did not quote me this price. It was the spa that collected this amount from me as the hotel room arrangement was made by them after 222 spoke to the captain.

I dun tink Grand Sentosa is a short time hotel as I have seen families staying there. I think VIP spa has some arrangement with the hotel to block book some rooms there for their customers use. 222 told me she often spend ON bookings at this hotel.

+1 .. always better 2 b cautious ... despite rivalry jealousy sabotage claims we can't deny frequency of raids of late which is a fact
