Girona 1 - 4 Barcelona : Lamine Yamal scores brace as Barcelona thrash Girona

Barcelona's Lamine Yamal struck twice in the first half to help deliver a commanding 4-1 win at Girona on Sunday that extended their perfect start to the season with a fifth consecutive win.

Yamal gave Barça a two-goal lead with strikes in the 30th and 37th minutes while Dani Olmo extended their advantage right after the break with a first-time effort from close range.

Pedri scored the fourth with a tap-in in the 64th minute while Girona substitute Cristhian Stuani netted a consolation goal in the 80th, six minutes before Barca were reduced to 10 men when forward Ferran Torres was given a straight red card for a nasty studs-up challenge on Yaser Asprilla.

Barça are top of LaLiga with 15 points, four ahead Real Madrid and Villarreal. Girona are seventh on seven points.

AS Monaco 2 - 1 Barcelona : Ten-man Barcelona lose to Monaco in Champions League opener

Barcelona made a disappointing start to their Champions League campaign by losing 2-1 to AS Monaco at Stade Louis II on Thursday after suffering an early blow from defender Eric Garcia's dismissal.

Garcia pulled back Takumi Minamino when the Japan forward intercepted a panicky pass out from Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen.

Monaco take the lead in the 16th minute through midfielder Maghnes Akliouche.

Akliouche, who represented France at the Paris Olympics, scored from the right side of the penalty area with national team coach Didier Deschamps watching.

Teenage superstar Lamine Yamal equalize for Barca in the 28th with a fine left-footed strike from the edge of the penalty area.

Adi Hütter made a series of substitutions after the break, with one of them putting the home team in front once again.

Twelve minutes after replacing Breel Embolo, 18-year-old Nigerian George Ilenikhena raced onto Vanderson's long ball before firing past goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Villarreal 1 - 5 Barcelona : Lewandowski, Raphinha lead Barcelona in thrashing of Villarreal

Barcelona maintained their perfect start in LaLiga as forwards Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha both scored twice to help them thrash hosts Villarreal 5-1 in a highly entertaining clash on Sunday.

Lewandowski found the net twice inside 35 minutes before Villarreal pulled a quick one back through Ayoze Pérez but Pablo Torre made it 3-1 after the break and Raphinha completed the rout for Barca with two goals late in the second half.

Hansi Flick's side extended their winning streak in the league to six games as they bounced back from their 2-1 loss against Monaco in the Champions League on Thursday.

Barcelona remain top of the standings on 18 points as they preserved a four-point lead over defending champions Real Madrid in second.

Barcelona 1 - 0 Getafe : Barcelona maintain perfect LaLiga start with seventh win in seven games

A first-half strike by top-scorer Robert Lewandowski earned a below-strength Barcelona a 1-0 LaLiga win over lowly Getafe on Wednesday to maintain their 100% record after seven games.

Barcelona, who rested Pedri and were without the injured Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Dani Olmo, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, Ronald Araujo, Fermin Lopez and Andreas Christensen, went ahead through Lewandowski's close-range strike in the 19th minute after a poor mistake by Getafe goalkeeper David Soria.

Osasuna 4 - 2 Barcelona : Barcelona unbeaten streak ends after shock loss

Ante Budimir scored twice to help Osasuna earn a shock 4-2 home win over leaders Barcelona and hand the visitors their first defeat of the LaLiga season on Saturday.

Bryan Zaragoza, on-loan from Bayern Munich, crossed to Budimir to open the scoring with a close-range header in the 18th minute and the 23-year-old winger extended Osasuna's lead with a strike from a quick counter-attack 10 minutes later.

Barca reduced the deficit thanks to a massive blunder by Osasuna goalkeeper Sergio Herrera who failed to keep out a weak strike by Pau Victor in the 53rd minute, but Budimir extended the hosts' lead from the penalty spot in the 72nd minute, after he was fouled inside the box.

Substitute Abel Bretones scored the fourth with a brilliant strike from long range in the 83rd minute, before Lamine Yamal scored Barca's second with a shot from the edge of the box in the 89th.

Barcelona 5 - 0 Young Boys : Lewandowski double leads Barcelona to big win

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski scored twice to set his side on course for a 5-0 Champions League thrashing of Swiss side Young Boys on Tuesday as the Catalan giants bounced back from a 2-1 loss at AS Monaco in their opener.

Lewandowski gave the hosts the lead in the eighth minute by tapping in a low Raphinha cross after a fine combination between the Brazilian forward and teenage sensation Lamine Yamal.

After squandering some decent chances, a quick-fire double from Raphinha and Inigo Martinez gave Barca a 3-0 lead.
The Brazilian netted a rebound from a corner in the 34th and defender Martinez scored with a towering header less than three minutes later from a cross by Pedri.

Lewandowski got his second and Barca's fourth in the 51st minute with a header in the six-yard box from a Martinez corner, before defender Mohamed Camara bundled the ball into his own net in the 81st trying to clear an Alejandro Balde cross.

Alavés 0 - 3 Barcelona : Lewandowski nets hat trick as Barcelona beat Alavés

Robert Lewandowski's first-half hat trick guided LaLiga leaders Barcelona to a 3-0 win away at Deportivo Alavés on Sunday as the Poland striker extended his lead at the top of the league's scoring charts.

Barcelona wasted no time in going in front when Lewandowski headed home from a Raphinha free kick in the seventh minute before the Brazil winger provided another assist on a counter-attack for the 36-year-old striker to grab his second.

Lewandowski completed his hat trick in the 32nd minute for his 10th LaLiga goal in nine games this season, but despite their dominance Barcelona could not score another as Antonio Sivera stood strong in the Alavés goal with six saves.

The victory moved Barcelona to 24 points, three points clear of rivals Real Madrid, while Alavés are 12th with 10 points.

Barcelona 5 - 1 Sevilla : Lewandowski and Torre at the double as Barcelona thrash Sevilla

Robert Lewandowski and substitute Pablo Torre each scored twice to help leaders Barcelona thrash visitors Sevilla 5-1 in LaLiga on Sunday in a confidence boost for Hansi Flick's side ahead of key clashes against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

Barca were dominant throughout the encounter at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium and effectively killed off the game with three goals in 15 first-half minutes starting with a Lewandowski penalty after Raphinha was fouled from behind in the 24th minute.

Pedri fired a bullet strike from the edge of the box into the top corner to double their lead four minutes later and Lewandowski slotted home a first-time effort from close range to net the third for the Catalan side in the 39th minute.

In the second half, Torre climbed off the bench to score the fourth with a shot from inside the box in the 82nd minute and, right after Stanis Idumbo netted a consolation for Sevilla in the 87th, he wrapped up the scoring with a free kick into the far corner.

Barcelona are on top of the LaLiga standings on 27 points, three ahead Real Madrid in second and seven clear of Atletico Madrid in third.

Barcelona 4 - 1 Bayern Munich : Raphinha treble guides Barcelona in thrashing of Bayern Munich

Barcelona captain Raphinha scored a hat trick to lead them to a commanding 4-1 home victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday, ending a near decade-long winless run against the German powerhouse.

Raphinha's inspired night started when he gave Barca the lead a little over a minute after kickoff when he received a fine pass by midfielder Fermín López, beat the offside trap and rounded the onrushing Manuel Neuer before tapping into the empty net.

Bayern drew level in the 18th minute with Harry Kane's volley from a cross by Serge Gnabry.

After Olise and Joshua Kimmich wasted good chances from close range it was Barca who got back in front in the 36th minute when Kim Min-Jae failed to deal with a high ball and Fermin Lopez cleverly chipped the ball between Neuer and Dayot Upamecano to Robert Lewandowski who tapped into an empty net.

Barca grew in intensity against a visiting side who looked stunned and Raphinha netted a brilliant curling strike from the edge of the box after receiving a crossfield pass from Marc Casadó just before half-time.

Raphinha wrapped up Barca's win in the 56th minute with a tidy finish from another quick counter-attack and Bayern looked stunned as the home crowd chanted "Ole" to transform Barcelona's Olympic Stadium into a bullfighting arena.

Real Madrid 0 - 4 Barcelona : Mbappé woe as Barcelona trounce wasteful Real Madrid

Robert Lewandowski scored twice and Lamine Yamal added a third goal to ruin Kylian Mbappé's first Clásico as Barcelona romped to a 4-0 win over Real Madrid on Saturday.

Lewandowski scored from a superb pass by Barcelona's latest youth talent Marc Casadó in the 54th minute and headed in a second goal three minutes later to silence Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Yamal made it a rout in the 77th when the 17-year-old phenom rifled a shot from an angle over goalkeeper Andriy Lunin to become the youngest Clásico goal scorer. Raphinha got involved in the burgundy-and-blue party when he broke free with Madrid pressing forward and chipped Lunin in the 84th.

Mbappé had a frustrating first game against Barcelona in a white shirt.

The France star was repeatedly caught offside by Barcelona's synchronized back four and failed to beat second-choice goalkeeper Iñaki Peña one-on-one with his team down two goals.

Barcelona 3 - 1 Espanyol : Barcelona beat Espanyol in derby to extend lead in LaLiga

LaLiga leaders Barcelona beat Espanyol 3-1 in the Catalan derby on Sunday thanks to a first-half double from Dani Olmo and a goal from Raphinha to extend their unbeaten run over their local rivals to 27 games.

Barça, who thrashed Real Madrid 4-0 last weekend, could have kept another clean sheet but Javi Puado scored for Espanyol, who were unlucky to have two goals chalked off by VAR for marginal offsides.

The victory moved Barça nine points clear of Real Madrid, who did not play at Valencia this weekend after their match was postponed due to the devastating floods in the region. Espanyol are 17th, a point above the relegation zone.
