Latest info from newspaper that demo most likely will happen on 6th Dec (Tue).
The Unions have requested a meeting with Business Association & Governor on 6th Dec to revise the previously annouced minimum wage. Workers most likely will gather for demo again unless an agreement can be reached.
So this weekend should be safe for bros to cheong....haha...enjoy!
Yeah! As advised by my driver in Batam, demo is "planned" for 6th Dec. I was intending to go on Monday (5/12) but now am hesitating...
Correct another round of talk on 6th dec 2011. Demo probably will be a peaceful one as the military have just completed their exercise this week at batam center,batamindo muka kuning and tanjung uncang.....this will scare the demo participants..... Those going batam to cheong guess no problem to stay in NED - nagoya entertainment district. Its safe , they have their own security personnel to handle the situation. Just take care n be alert.
