THE PUBLIC OFFERS TO HELP ELDERLY CLEANER WHO WAS CHEATED OF $400,000 BY PRC SCAMMERS .node-article .field-name-ad-box-in-article {float: left;margin: 15px 15px 10px 0;}.node-article .field-tags{clear: both;} Post date: 6 Jul 2014 - 9:56am Background Story: PRC Scammers Jailed For Cheating Elderly Victims of Over $440,000 of Life Savings Madam Goh Kah Keow, a 74 year old cleaner who was cheated of her life savings by PRC scammers last year has received dozens of kind donations from the public after her story was published in the media. In November of last year she lost cash and jewellery amounting to over $400,000 to 5 PRC scammers. Mdm Goh is single and stays in a studio flat alone and leads a very thrifty life and continues to work as a cleaner. The PRC scammers had lured Mdm Goh by first requesting her help to find a medium. They approached Mdm Goh claiming that they needed her help as one of their daughters was sick back in Taiwan and they needed to find the medium to be blessed. However, when they arrived at the temple, the medium told Mdm Goh that she was cursed with an evil spirit and she would need to bring all her valuables the next day so that they could be blessed. But during a prayer, when Mdm Goh's eyes were closed, the scammers took her bag full of valuables and replaced it with another bag filled with newspapers and water bottles. Mdm Goh was told not to open the bag for 3 days or else the blessing would be broken. When she later opened her bag, she found that all her valuables had been stolen. Inside the bag, she had put cash and jewellery amounting to over $400,000. Since her story was published in the media, many kind Singaporeans have offered to give her donations and help her. Heng ah! Still thought you would brame me for blain washing and making you Stinkees stupid for the last 50 years! Click here to view the whole thread at www.sammyboy.com. |
