Work in Shenzhen

Hi Brothers,

Sorry to post this non-sexual post, but I need your experience and advice here.

I got an offer to relocate and work in SZ, with a very good position with a very attractive package (double my current) that also settle my tax-equalization.

However, I am not sure what other expense I need to take into account while working there, as well as any schools that can equivalent to our Kindergarden and primary standard in SZ?

I sure do not want my kids not able to blend back to our education std when I return!

Kindly help if you are currently in this sitation, letting me know the good / bad aspect of life in SZ.

what other expense? - SZ similar to here, but standard of living is consider high for a PRC. There is intls school in SheKou (place similar to orchard, prime area for ang moh and expats), but be careful high crime rate. Want cheap shopping go LuoHu shopping area, can bargain (for small shops), near LuoHu have a big Jusco with all geniune branded stuffs but whether real or not, dun know. ANywhere except dept store and shopping centre can bargain. Want cheong go Puji Area. HuaQiangBei - Sim Lim Sq of SZ.

Hi Bro T123,

I made short trips to SZ rather often 2-3 days each time, so a bit familiar wif shopping, MP etc there, but staying long term is different, need to think of renting a normal apartment, or service apartment, transportation for family, school for kids etc.
Also they may not be familiar wif the place in chinese, food wise etc.
Big concern ya!
