If it's not herpes, what is it?

the hsv culture test came back negative after 3 weeks

by that time, the "pimples" had completely cleared, and for the past almost 3 months everything was going great. i also stopped commercial sex altogether, already scared

then just last week while at work, i felt this recurring itch every now and then on the left side at the same spot (between scrotum and base of penis). by the time i got home for a shower, i realised it was a new "pimple". a single "pimple", same thing again, burst in less than 2 days and dried up, now after a week its fading

but of all things, 2 more "pimples" popped up on the right side, just burst yesterday and starting to dry up

i asked the doctor at the dsc the last time, and he's not sure what it is if it's not herpes. so if that's the case, what could it possibly be?

Doesn't sound like Herpes to me. The next time you get a pimple, get a culture done straight away to find out what it is.

Even if it is herpes, it is ok lah. Not the end of the world.

I have herpes and have been suffering from it for 8 years in silence. Nobody knows it and life goes on as normal !!

updates:

since that last posting i'd had 1 more "pimple" on the right-underside right between scrotum and base of penis

as with the others, it dried up and disappeared a week after

i finally managed to go for 2 days without any of these "pimples" until i felt the itch again, and this time 3-4 of them on the right side, spread out IN THE MIDDLE of the pubic area, in between the hairs, instead of between scrotum and base of penis like before

now these have dried up and starting to fade away, and another 1 just popped out on the left side

it's getting very frustrating. i have a new steady gf now, and i don't dare to bonk her, with these "pimples" around

question is, if it's not herpes, what could it possibly be?

it can't be warts, since warts get worse if not treated

what else can cause these "pimples"?

Bro i think is skin fungus .. mine is like a patch of red area. and it darken compare to the rest of the skin. sometimes is fucking very itchy.

And I also such problem like you. It will dry and fake away then new one will come out around the groin area. Sometimes my buttock also hv abit. damn

This can be control my keeping your groin area dry. Probably u swear alot?
wear boxer, put powder and at night use cream. Can get from pharmacy. $2 - $20 alot of brands. For me I used a few cheap one cos after a while the fungus seem to be immune to those cream.

I got this shit when i was in NS and after ORD so long still got such problem once in a while. Mine is cfm to be skin fungus cos i hv seen a doc for it.

Sounds like normal boils to me. I think you are just too heaty and need to either drink more cooling tea or clense your internal system.

sound more like a wart thing? correct me if wrong..

tat time i also got 1 very very tiny pimple in between the head there..

then go check, the nurse say look like warts..

but see doc, doc say nothin wrong with it.. =.="

anyway have a check lor.. better than everyday guessing and checking on the head, sometimes hands got germs then u touch here touch there will make it worse..

If your "pimples" only itch but you never feel a stinging and slightly painful sensation, they are not herpes, especially if your hsv tests are negative. You could be suffering from some form of dermatitis. Get a biopsy from a dermatologist next time you have these lesions. Good luck!

Do a skin test. You might be suffering from a kind of skin allergy.

some people suffer from your kind of pimple attack when its damp and wet from salty sweat. For example some people suffer the same thing around the back area of your head below the hairline.

Wear loose pants for a change. Meaning no jeans thats tight. Change to boxer undies.

When you go to the urinal wash it clean in each visit. When u sweat wash it.

Change your diet.
