I actually agree that despite the fact that it's a third world country. SOL is quite high. I've been traveling up from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap then enter Laos to Don Det, then Champasak, then Pakse...and here i am now in Vietiane! The prices of everything in Laos is much more expensive than in Cambodia, even on par with Sg...so in Vientiane, i believe it couldn't be much cheaper either...
