based on my experience in Taiwan, u need people / locals familiar wif the lobangs to bring u there, otherwise, it's not so easy like in PRC. yes, whoring / prostitution is illegal in Taiwan. the commercial sex scene there is expensive, and the quality of the gals r oso not so good. dun be surprised u get woman instead of gal! it's rather common! or probably after u (me) go china, ur standard & demand is different oredi.

I still find the better quality gals r PRCs, but then, paying that kinda price for PRC? At least when I was in Taiwan last year & early this year, whenever there is long weekend (happen that many Taiwan public holidays last year fall on fridays / mondays), I'll most likely book an ticket & go to PRC (ZhongShan / ZhuHai). Taipei by far has the most excellent KTV experience for me. Though I must say that this FR is 2 years old (gimme a break I just joined this forum today).

My friend tells me that when the light is turned on it means that the police are raiding the KTV and we have 5 mins to put on our clothes before they unlock the rooms. Boy am I impressed. Apparently this place is run by local gangsters.

Wrong, every rooms have tinted window. And ppl outside can peer in thru the hole to see your girl rubbing your dick. When raided, the waiters outside can barge into your room, even though it is supposedly "locked".
