Yep, like what I was talking with my friends, those tiongs who kena kidnapped are those who respond to those high paying job ads.. To put it bluntly, they abit bodoh.
I think Bangkok is still safe as long as you practice common-tourist-sense like sticking to the crowded tourist areas like Asok or Sukhimvit, or dont anyhow respond to strangers approaching you on the streets. I just came back last week. The streets of Asok/Sukhumvit and the clubs im Ekkamai really alot less Tiongs, but still alot of Farangs, Japs/Koreans and Singaporeans/Malaysians
