If the rumours are true, there's a photo of Singaporean actor Ady Putra's naked crotch out there in someone's mobile phone. Ady, nominated for Best Actor at the 2011 Anugerah Skrin for his part in the hit action flick KL Gangster, apparently sent a picture of his genitals to a Malaysian woman on Whatsapp Messenger—only to have her husband see it, too!
According to Malay media reports, Ady, 32, met the 30-year-old married woman through Instagram in July. It wasn't long before they were exchanging sexts and saucy pictures. Unfortunately, the woman's husband, a 56-year-old businessman from Johor, spotted one of Ady's naughty photos on her phone last month and immediately lodged a police report.
The cops have now confiscated the phone and sent the device to their labs for analysis. Meanwhile, the case is being investigated under Section 509 of the Penal Code (for words or gestures intended to insult a person’s modesty).
Ady himself is a married man—his wife of seven years is 37-year-old Malaysian Aida Yusof. He did file for divorce in 2012 when it was rumoured that he was seeing Malaysian actress Nora Danish, his 31-year-old co-star from the 2012 romantic movie Aku Terima Nikahnya. Ten days later, however, he withdrew the papers citing reconcilable differences with his wife.
Last year Ady and Aida finally adopted a baby girl who they named Zara Adelia after Aida suffered her fourth miscarriage. She also recently told reporters that she wasn't jealous of her husband acting with starlets like Raja Farah, Nabila Huda and Fasha Sandha. Ady will reprise his role as Jai in the prequel movie KL Gangster 2 scheduled to open in October.
