ST finally reports (1 week later) of Bishan MRT vandals

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

"Police are investigating a case of vandalism at SMRT's Bishan depot - the third incident in four years. The latest incident occurred LAST Monday, with the police confirming yesterday that they received a call for assistance at 6-17am that day."

Why the delay in reporting and blaming that the police only confirmed yesterday, when the news was all over the place for one whole week and they could have easily checked with SMRT.
