Thumbs up Like Prayut, peasants' representative Phua wants nominated President

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

Transmodified from hxxp://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/mps-debate-president-s/1124352.html

PEASANTPORE: As pro regime Peasants' Representatives heap praise on 1/3 Mandate President's address for a second day, Peasants' Representative for Moulmein-Kallang GRC, Ms Denise Phua raised concerns about the powers given to the Erected President. Peasants could vote for their President after amendments to the constitution were made in 1991.

Lackey Phua noted that the amendments gave the Erected President reserve powers over regime expenditure of financial reserves and key public office appointments. The President also has the power to make life difficult for the non-PAP regime of the day to draw down reserves that it did not accumulate.

"What Prayut do in Siam, I support. We cannot simply allow peasants to vote in a populist regime and start dismantling the existing rights and powers enjoyed by Familee and their cronies. So I say we follow Siam and ask Ruler Loong to appoint a pliant lackey as head of state in the like of Rubber Stamps like Yusof bin Ishak and Dr Benjamin Sheares; Phony Tan lost respect after he became a lameduck President thanks to 2 Sabo Tans. Democratic choices divide the country instead of healing and uniting the Peasants of Peasantpore," crowed Lackey Chua.

In addition, she tries to be act coy and claimed the way the public service is operated should be upgraded. For instance, through the way it selects and develops its leaders. It should also look at how to more proactively identify issues that matter on the ground rather than parachute Lee Royalists who sing the same tune and talk down on peasants.

Tolerated But Not Erected Peasant Representative Laurence Ah Lien stressed that the relationship between the regime and the peasants needs to be improved, and called for a strengthening of civil society for Peasantpore's long-term interest.

"Cannot always ask peasants to kowtow Oxley Road 5 times daily liao. Many peasants now read Jane Austen's works, many got eyes and reasoning minds liao. Asiatic autocracy cannot work the way it used to do so. The earlier Ruler Loong understand what is good for Imperial Familee is not necessary good for Peasantpore, the better it is.” said Ah Lien.

“Ang Moh say not taxes with representation, so we can see many peasants are unable to vote, thanks to walk overs and GRCs, yet they are taxed endure price hikes, fight with cheap foreigners for schools, jobs and birdcages while the Familee and Cronies live the good life? Then Ruler Loong wants Peasantpore to evolve into a thinking society, let peasants have little civic or political rights, so what you think huh?"

Peasants' Representatives also responded to the 1/3 Mandate President's call for constructive politics.

Second Best Loser Peasant Representative Gerald Giam said if constructive politics is kowtowing to Ruler Loong, trembling and obeying his decrees, then we might as well outlaw Democracy and return to a pure Autocracy state.

"If all tremble and obey Ruler Loong's decree whether it is pure garbage or otherwise, then adopting golden silence better lah, no gridlock and paralysis. We should not sacrifice quality for efficiency, if wrong, all die faster lor,” said Mr Giam.

“As the wise adage goes, ‘legislate in haste, repent at leisure’. No Porn Lui is one good example, rush into so many harebrained gimmicks, then what happen, trains still breakdown, bus service still screw up, then how, Lui gets to travel in his big luxurious car but peasants leh, they left high and dry, who help them?"

Peasants' Representative Zainudin Nordin cautioned that while it is good to have debates, in Asiatic regime, there is a risk of society falling apart if the debates get out of hand.

He said: “Some peasants and netizens have gone about questioning government policies, we simply ignore them, they go online and discuss some now, we still ignore them, then Labour wins more seats, we cannot ignore them anymore, so the best way is the nip the problem early by censoring debates.

“Peasants must remember, in Western or Nihon societies, all these makes for very interesting reading, but if you ask me, Asiatic upbringing do not allow us to smear dirt on our rulers lor. It is inappropriate, if we everyday complain complain, how Ruler Loong spend time to fix the Opposition huh? Remember Ruler Loong owes no explanation to anybody. Anything that derides Familee belongs in the realm of pulp fiction novels, rather than for any serious consideration. It is time that the regime made efforts in explaining that obeying Ruler Loong's decrees are the way to go and we must mount a robust challenge to censor the Internet and make life difficult for Jane Austen's fans.

“Even as peasants strive to make personal aspirations and achievements, they must not forget to kowtow Ruler Loong and bow to Oxley Road 5 times daily to remember their roots.”

The Imperial Courts sits again on Wednesday to continue with its expensive wayang.
