Many women thought they could put off marriage and families until their 30s, having devoted their 20s to education, establishing careers and playing the field. But was their decade of dating a strategic mistake?

I don't understand what you wrote but I'm guessing it could be due to their appearance/physique; that is being fat.

My apologise, i also don't understand what i wrote
Hmmm i think i am trying to say, i guess many women would prefer a marriage rather than a career or higher education. But maybe they don't have the body figure the men desire, that's why some still remain unattached. so i would think when ppl say women, they might be referring to those attractive ones.

Anyway, the reason for sharing this article is that, although authored in a western country, it applies also to Asian societies. Women who pursue education and career, and holding themselves up to fairy-tale princess highs (with the GCB attitude) are actually doing themselves a disfavour to their ticking biological clock as the countdown only continues to leave them on-the-shelf (unwanted by men) who cannot, or sometimes do not, desire them.

This article is a kick-in-the-pussy for women; really ouch!

Thanks for sharing the article. It is pretty obvious regarding the modern women's dilemma looking for Mr Right, isn't it? In this generation and next, it is about time the woman turns hunter and the man, being hunted

I particularly like the ending line of the article, quoted by an eligible man. He said :

''I'm lucky,'' he says, ''to be in a buyer's market.''

I'm glad you like it, or see my point in sharing it. Some smart (or smarter) women know that it is, or has become, a man's buyer's market. If I remember reading correctly, there has been decreasing male births, and actually more frighteningly, increasing male birth defects.
