Bro, my first advice to you is to take backpage with an entire plate of salt. I tried once as well, and was completely con by a bait-and-switch. My second advice? Confirm rejection fee, see at lobby and don't hesitate to pay the rejection fee if need be. I know rejection fee itself kinda waste of money, but why waste your time and shot instead?

yes almost everything on backpage is fake trust me i had to learn the hard way
all the ads for local fls (especially snownotsowhite) are also almost all fake or when you meet the girl
