FBI agents investigating the stabbing of a police officer in a Michigan airport on Wednesday say it may be a possible act of terror, NBC News reported.

An on-duty officer was stabbed in the neck by a man with a knife at Bishop Airport in Flint, Michigan State Police said.

A suspect is in custody and the airport remains closed.

“The cop was on his hands and knees bleeding from his neck,” Ken Brown, who was dropping his daughter off at the airport, told Michigan Live. “I said they need to get him a towel.”
