A total of 142 women and five men, aged between 18 and 62, were arrested for their suspected involvement in vice-related activities during a four-day police operation that ended on Oct 5.

Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the six Police Divisions conducted coordinated raids at more than 50 locations islandwide, including hotels and residential units at Bukit Timah, Choa Chu Kang, Serangoon Road, Tiong Bahru, Yishun, Woodlands, Thomson, Balestier Road, Hougang, Geylang, Tampines and Jurong West, resulting in the arrests.

Two people have since been charged in court for offences under the Women’s Charter on Oct 5 and Oct 6 respectively.

Investigations against the remaining suspects are ongoing.

The police said they will continue to work with members of the public on the information submitted regarding vice activities and take tough enforcement action against those involved in such activities.

"House owners are also reminded to conduct regular checks on their tenants to prevent vice activities from proliferating in residential estates," added the police in a news release.

It doesn't matter they have arrested 100-thousands chickens, as long as there is demand, supply will be surely there.

Until the day they make calling illegal chickens a crime, the costumers will keep on calling chicken in HDB, condo, MP, etc. All kinda anti-vice operations are basically useless but just some busy works.

Hmm... I don't think so. By just charging the costumers for trespassing or detaining the costumers for 48-hour for suspected involving in the vice activities... that's enough to scare off a lot of people.

I would say attacking the costumers would be the most effective way to bring down the industry, once and for all.

The chickens in the spas got many hidden charges. I have experienced once which touching boobs, boobs massage, BBBJ, sex... all are charged individually.
