Hi Bro, anyone could advise which the cheapest way to call your loved ones overseas like in Thailand, Vietnam or China?

Is it 019 or simply jus buy a pre-paid card? Any other ways?

They do but when we are home they are out working. So chances of meeting online is not easy. Unless during office hours when they are at home

bro now skype can call from your pc to their phone already, don't need them to have pc or to be online. u can call their mobile or home direct using skype, but must buy skype credits, but still very cheap, compare to the idd cards and other stuffs. u can check the rates from the skype website. hope it helps.

Wel, u can buy the Sunshine pre-paid international calling card at Golden Mile Complex 1st floor. One of the booth at 1st floor of the complex is selling each card @$8.00 and if you are calling China, it gives a whooping 700 minutes of talktime provided u call the non-tollfree numbers shown on the back of the card. And the phone charges when u call from your home residence number is relatively cheap. Mine was less than $20 for the last Singtel bill, after I've been calling my wife-to-be in Beijing almost every night for 1 hour at least. So I think it's well worth the money spent on the card. To find out the other talktimes for the other countries, ask the man from the counter and he will show u the poster chart for the various countries. The booth is selling both handphones and pre-paid cards and it is in the middle of the 1st floor-take note.
